Mrs. Julia

Now that I live away from home, I really want to work on cooking fresh and healthy meals by myself. Sadly, it is a lot harder to find time than I thought so far. This is a goal of mine, and I will work harder to be like Julia Childs. I am so obsessed with Julia and Julia. I bought my mom the book, and I will read it after her. I also really want "Mastering the Art of French Cooking"... I would HAVE to try the Beef Bourguignon. If you haven't seen the movie, go see it!

merry happy

I don't know how to express how much I love talking to people. Not just talking, but having deep, meaningful conversations.

Lately, I have found myself is SO many! I am not exactly sure why, but I do feel lucky that apparently people are comfortable enough to tell me things and be open with me.

It helps me probably way more than it helps them, but either way, I LOVE it.

So, thank you to my amazing friends, and strangers, who have felt impulsed for some reason or another to share their saga with me... for listening... and allowing me to try and help.

It does mean a lot to me.

Delta Gamma

So, unfortunately due to work I had to give up my position in Delta Gamma as the Director of New Members. But, on the bright side, I am now the Director of Archives. This means I take care of pictures/blogging/website/etc, which will be fun (and a lot less time consuming).

Click here to check out the blog.

Plus, Rush is this week. Again, I can hardly make it to anything because of work, but I am still excited to get some new adorable girls! Make fun all you want (you know who you are), but I love DG!

Found

This pic in Iphoto from Florence. I love it. Miss that place dearly.

Last trip before school...

I am IN LOVE with California.

I do not understand what there is to dislike about black licorice.

Mark Weinburg Photography

At almost every activity, we could count on Mark bringing his camera and shooting everyone when they least expected it. I am so appreciative because he caught everyone when they are just being themselves, which is what I want to remember. Although I was pretty nervous to go with a bunch of BYU students I didn't know, it turned out to be the most amazing experience ever. I met some of the greatest people and KNOW that I was suppose to be there on that study abroad for so many reasons. I miss it every day and will cherish the memories forever.
Clarke and Ellie.
Bethanne and Eric=best professors. Totally made the trip!
How awesome is this one?
Robert=an amazing friend :)
I love these bottom two pictures, because they practically spell out my experience in Italy!

Party's almost over...

I have had one amazing summer. Sadly enough, the time has come to find a job and get back to normal life!
